Red Romper | 4 Ways

When I saw this red romper at Zara’s store in Bangalore, it was truly love at first sight. Very rarely do I find rompers that fit me perfectly and I wasn’t going to let this one go. I gravitate more towards monotone pieces of clothing as I can wear them in multiple ways, with blazers, jackets, shirts etc. For printed clothes however, one has to be more careful of what you pair them with. So today’s post is to show you 4 ways in which I would wear this red romper on a day out! Read more below for details on every look :

Classic

On a day you want to try something bold, keep it monotone with red. Red screams confidence and this look is going to make you feel super confident and amazing! I paired the romper with red flats and a bright red lip. To add a teeny tiny contrast I added this black bag with a gold sling and buckle and gold aviators from H&M and that’s it. Super simple and fabulous!

Casual

This look is classic me. It’s casual, care free and has a lot of my favorites in the form of denim and tan. If you know me, you know I like to add a hint of denim with everything and I couldn’t help but throw on my denim shirt on the red just for the contrast. Whenever you think you are over dressed or there’s something’s missing, just add a denim jacket or shirt on it and you’ll be sorted. The denim shirt here takes the attention away from all the red and with the nude oxfords you are set for a day out with friends; brunching, shopping and exploring!

Formal

Want to bring a little edgy to your workplace? Just throw on a classic boyfriend white shirt over the romper and button all the way to the top. All you need is a pair of black heels and a formal black bag and you are ready for that dreaded meeting. Throw off the white shirt and head for that lounge everyone’s been raving about in the evening for a few glasses of wine 😉 That’s the beauty of this piece, you can go from day to night easily.

Edgy

There’s nothing that a nice leather jacket can’t amp up. It’s one of those staple clothing pieces you NEED in your wardrobe. Throw it over a white tank and a pair of basic denims and you don’t need anything else. Now with the winters approaching we finally have the opportunity to wear it again — not so much in Hyderabad where I’m based but atleast all the ladies up north can bring back the leather jacket from the attic. The contrast of black and red is classic and I kept the look simple by just adding a pair of black heels, go for black booties if you will. And that’s all you need for a night about town!
